Flexible RF switch
The Kronback tracers B+ is a compact, flexible RF switch for switching up to sixteen inputs into one output in the range of 5–862 MHz. Input and output connectors are 75 ohm F-type. An LED is associated with each connector, indicating which input is active. The B+ handles signals up to 130 dB m V with excellent RF performance.

Flexible Expansion
The B+ serves as input expansion unit for the B16 return-path monitoring system. Integrating one extra B+ adds sixteen inputs to the B16 system and its output occupies one input in the B16 for cascading, so the total number of inputs added is fifteen. Up to a total of sixteen B+ units can be added to the B16 system, providing a total of 256 inputs.

B+ BUS
The B+ is controlled from the proprietary B+ control bus, providing fast and reliable control of up to sixteen B+ units in the B16 return-path monitoring system. The bus is cascadable and the cascade order determines which input range the specific B+ represents in the B16 system, to ensure flexible, uncomplicated addressing of the B+ units.  

Powered from B16
The B+ is powered via the B+ BUS RJ45 connector, eliminating the need for external power adaptors and wires. Consuming less than 1 Watt, the dimensions of a standard twisted-pair cable are sufficient to power up to sixteen B+ units in cascade. The internal PSU of the B+ has widely ranged specifications, making the cable length of the B+ BUS cable uncritical.
